Details
The majority of my work is made in and around where I live, which is the fens in north Cambridgeshire. The fens and its skies are a landscape that I love and hold very close to my heart. I do manage to escape the fen from time to time to the coast, city and hills and then sometimes foreign lands.
I like to play with and attempt to develop several styles within my photography. I like to think I'm always searching.
Photography should look for the soul, the atmosphere, the feeling etc, it should look to capture a unique moment in time - it should provoke us, move us - make us think, in my opinion it should aim to be poetic.
It's now well over 40 years since I picked up my first SLR camera and over 10 years since going digital.
I used to teach evening classes at Isle College Wisbech and I ran workshops for beginners and intermediates at Stamford Arts Centre. I also offer the same workshops as one to ones (or small groups).
All my work is for sale
Prices start from £25 for a signed A4 and £40 for an A3+ plus p&p , the prints are fully archival on the finest quality photographic papers (colour fast for 200 years). Different images suit different papers etc so please contact me to discuss. All prints are embossed with my artists stamp.
I am available for commissions and tuition, one to one or small groups.
